Cookie Policy

This page explains how Connected Recovery Inc. uses cookies and similar technologies on connectedrecoverycenter.com, and how you can control them.

Cookies We Use

Some cookies are essential to operating this website and to keeping it secure — for example, remembering this cookie choice and protecting our contact forms. Those do not require permission and cannot be switched off.

Everything else is optional. We use optional cookies to measure how many people visit our pages and which pages they read, and to understand which advertisements led someone to contact us. We also load an interactive Google map of our facility, which sets its own cookies. Optional cookies never run where the law requires your permission first, and they stay off until you allow them.

Optional services and privacy choices

Whether optional services need permission before they run depends on your location and the settings for this site. Services you previously declined stay off. If we cannot determine which services are allowed, they stay off.

You can decline optional services or withdraw permission at any time in Cookie settings. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, advertising stays off unless you explicitly allow it in Cookie preferences. This signal does not automatically turn off functional services or analytics.

  • Google Analytics

Measure visits and understand how visitors use this website so we can improve it.

    Analytics

First-party cookies set by Google Analytics (including _ga and _ga_<container-id>) are stored on the visitor's device to distinguish visits. Retention is configured in our Google Analytics property (14 months).

  • Google Ads

Measure which ads led to an insurance verification or phone call, so our advertising budget is spent effectively.

    Advertising

First-party cookies set by Google Ads (including _gcl_au) are stored on the visitor's device to attribute a website action to an advertising click. Retention is configured in our Google Ads account (90 days).

  • Google Maps

Display the interactive map of our Van Nuys facility so visitors can get directions.

    Functional

Google may set its own first-party cookies (including NID and CONSENT) when the embedded map loads, used to remember map preferences and settings. These are set by Google, not by us.

Allowing, Refusing, and Withdrawing

Where permission is required, a banner appears before any optional cookie is set. Choosing "Reject all" is as easy as choosing "Accept all", and either choice is remembered for up to 12 months, after which we ask again. You can change your mind at any time by choosing Cookie settings in the footer of any page.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to refuse optional cookies, and a later "Accept all" will not override it. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time — this website remains fully usable without them.

How We Decide Whether to Ask You

To work out whether your region requires permission before optional cookies, we look up a coarse geographic region from your IP address. That lookup is transient: the region is used only to decide which rules apply, and the lookup itself does not set a tracking cookie or record a profile of you. If the lookup fails, we default to the stricter behavior and ask first.

Our own traffic statistics are collected without cookies and without identifying individual visitors, which is why they are not listed as an optional cookie you need to control.
