Group Therapy

In group therapy, you discover you're not alone. Our therapist-led groups provide a supportive environment where you can share experiences, learn from peers, and build the community essential for lasting recovery.

The Power of Shared Experience

Group therapy is one of the most powerful tools in addiction treatment. It breaks through the isolation that addiction creates and shows clients they are not alone in their struggles. In a therapist-led group, you'll hear perspectives that challenge your thinking, receive honest feedback from peers, and build communication and interpersonal skills in real time.

Our groups are kept intentionally small — typically 6 to 8 clients — to ensure everyone has space to share and receive individual attention from the therapist. The small-group format also mirrors the intimacy of our 12-bed facility, creating a sense of community and mutual accountability.

Group Therapy Topics

  • Understanding addiction and the brain
  • Identifying triggers and high-risk situations
  • Building healthy coping skills
  • Managing cravings and urges
  • Communication and relationship skills
  • Anger and stress management
  • Grief, loss, and trauma processing
  • Life skills and goal-setting for recovery
